The New Workforce

Hey everyone, we've got a bumper edition today featuring some new jobs that AI will present, the launch of our agency, loads of great tools to help you, and of course our Most Valuable Media content.

We've all heard the media's narrative about how AI will replace many jobs, with many industries facing the biggest change they have ever seen. As an eternal optimist, I've been trying to shift focus toward the new and exciting career opportunities that are emerging as a result of this AI revolution.

Some intriguing career paths have arisen from the growth of AI, I’m going to quickly touch on a few:

Prompt Engineering: a professional who designs and fine-tunes input queries for AI systems, ensuring that they generate accurate, relevant, and contextually appropriate responses in a variety of applications.

AI Trainers: teach AI systems to understand human language, emotions, and behavior. For example, they might help a customer service chatbot learn how to respond empathetically to frustrated users.

AI Data Privacy Specialist: These professionals will safeguard user data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. For example, they could design secure data storage systems for a company using AI to analyse customer data.

AI-Powered Urban Planner: Urban planners will leverage AI technology to design smarter, greener, and more efficient cities. For instance, they could use AI algorithms to optimise traffic flow and reduce congestion. Auckland could have done with a few of these over the years.

AI-Enhanced Medical Professional: Healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, can leverage AI-powered tools to enhance diagnostics, treatment plans, and patient outcomes. For example, a radiologist can use AI-powered imaging analysis software to identify tumors more accurately.

AI Ethicist: AI ethicists will work to ensure AI systems are developed and deployed ethically, addressing potential biases and ethical concerns. For instance, they may establish guidelines for fairness in AI-driven hiring processes.

Chatbot Designer: Chatbots have become a standard part of customer service. A chatbot designer can create and train them to provide empathy, accuracy, and company-specific information.

Smart Home Contractor: As AI becomes more prevalent in homes, people will need help implementing it. Smart home contractors will: Install smart home systems, upgrade and update systems, as well as Troubleshoot and repair systems.

Speaking of new career opportunities, we're excited to announce the launch of our AI agency, Domorewith.AI. It was born from successful pro bono projects that helped our friends' and family businesses (My wife actually gifted me 3 beautiful cashmere sweaters in return for reducing their operating costs by 15% so everyone is winning there). They were thrilled with the transformative results AI delivered and encouraged us to share our expertise. So, we built the agency and website on Sunday to bring AI solutions to more businesses.
